I opened Bridge today to get a picture to work on. I made my adjustments and then opened the image in Photoshop. The image was washed out and could not be adjusted to bring out the full color. I'm not sure what happened.

I had worked on a black-and-white image previously, but that should not make a difference. Here is what the image looked like in Bridge and then in Photoshop

Ben in your lesson on panoramas I noticed you referred to "raw" images from the I phone. I always thought I- phones were limited to shooting everything in jpeg? My phone can shoot raw? how?

I enjoy capturing landscapes that include abstract ideas. Sometimes it works, and sometimes not. I purposely cropped the top of my frame to minimize the sky. My idea was to make the viewer uncomfortable so that their eye would travel from the top RH corner diagonally to the bottom LH and out of the image. Yet the uncomfortable juxtaposition of the cliff and absence of sky would compel the viewer to return to the starting point.
