This week's lesson shows you how to think about working between Lightroom and Photoshop when dealing with cropping. It will show you how the setup can become rather complicated quickly unless you think ahead of time. I'll also show you how to uncrop an image once it is in Photoshop and will also share an action that makes the process faster.Note: There are no downloadable practice images for this lesson. There is an action that is included. After downloading the file, double-click on the resulting file to uncompress it and then double-click once again to install the action in Photoshop.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
I'm currently traveling interionally which prevents me from having the focus needed to tackle this issue while I'm away. We hope to have this issue resolved by the end of August or soon after. I will then focus on adding a Mark as Watched indivator and the ability to add private notes to a lesson. I had wanted to get these things done before my trip started, but recording enough lessons to cover the time I'd be away took longer than expected.
