For many people, 70%+ of their images never need to be touched by Photoshop. That doesn’t mean that the images don’t need to be optimized or fixed in some way. It just means that those changes are often most efficiently accomplished using either a Photoshop plug-in called Camera Raw or a stand-alone program called Lightroom. Both programs share the same set of adjustment choices. Camera Raw is automatically installed with Photoshop, while Lightroom is a separate program. In this lesson, we’ll explore how you can transform just about any dull-looking image into one that really shines using these essential adjustments. This should be the first step all your images go through before you consider opening them into Photoshop for additional work.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
I'm currently traveling interionally which prevents me from having the focus needed to tackle this issue while I'm away. We hope to have this issue resolved by the end of August or soon after. I will then focus on adding a Mark as Watched indivator and the ability to add private notes to a lesson. I had wanted to get these things done before my trip started, but recording enough lessons to cover the time I'd be away took longer than expected.
