This lesson extends what we covered in last week's lesson which was called Detail Visualizations. I'll show you how to create a custom visualization layer, then convert the adjustment layer into a profile that can be applied in Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom. We'll then take a look at how the visualization relates to adjusting images using Curves.Note: The downloadable practice images for this lesson have been compressed into a .ZIP archive. That means you'll have to double-click the file after download to extract its contents before attempting to use them in Photoshop. Also, the file that ends in .CUBE is a Color Lookup Table that can be loaded into Adobe Camera Raw or Lightroom as a profile using the techniques mentioned in the lesson.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
