This lesson covers how to perform complex masking around a palm tree and then refine the result using the History Brush and a setting known as Non-Linear History. We'll also discuss how to use the Select & Mask feature and how to apply multiple Levels adjustments to refine the results you achieve. Finally, I'll show you how to access hidden features to get more control over complex masking projects.Note: It is no longer necessary to use the hidden feature I mentioned in the Decontaminate Colors section of this lesson since Adobe has added the Amount slider to the normal Select & Mask dialog box.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
