In this lesson I'll show you the challenges I encountered when attempting to optimize and retouch an image. That includes two techniques for precisely matching color between areas and some interesting retouching techniques that include using Difference and Darken blending modes.Note: The practice image for this lesson has been compressed into a .ZIP file. You will need to double-click on the file to extract its contents before attempting to open the image in Photoshop.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
