Soft Proofing is the process of using your computer display to preview what a print should look like before committing ink to paper. In the process, you'll learn about printer profiles, how to acquire them and how to install them. We'll also discuss how the process is slightly different when sending images to outside vendors for printing.Note: There are no downloadable practice images for this lesson.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
