In this lesson we'll explore Identity Plates in Lightroom Classic. On the most basic level this is how you can customize the upper left of Lightroom's user interface to feature your name or logo. Identity Plates can also be used at the beginning and ending of slideshows or as an addition to the background. You can also use them to add graphics when printing and even trick the Print module into saving out a JPEG file that includes graphics or text. If you push the idea of Identity Plates into the creative side then you might start to use them to overlay borders and other creative effects onto your images in Lightroom.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
