Learning to See

In this lesson I show you the concepts I think you need to retrain your brain to see when looking at the world as a photographer. That's because your brain has adapted to only make you aware of what is unexpected or overly unique, which causes you to ignore photographically useful concepts. In the process you'll also learn some unique shooting techniques. In this lesson, I referred to another lesson about camera distance and compression, which you can find here: https://mastersacademy.com/course/shootingdistance/Note: There are no downloadable practice images for this lesson.

NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
