In this lesson, I work with a challenge image where I was requested to blur the background of an image. In the end, I did a lot more of the image including improving a mixed lighting situation and enhancing eyes. By watching this lesson, you'll learn about using the Adjustment Brush in LR/ACR, more about making selections and working with multiple type of blur filters. You can upload your own challenge images here. I really love seeing your image since it helps me learn what you'd like to see me teach and makes it so we're not limited to the subject matter that I typically shoot.Note: The downloadable practice image for this lesson has been compressed into a .ZIP archive. That means you'll have the double-click the file after downloading to extract its contents before attempting to open the image in Photoshop.
NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
