Auto Align & Auto Blend Layers

In this lesson we'll cover how to understand and use the Auto-Align and Auto-Blend commands and discuss how they relate to the Photomerge command. These features are essential when stitching panoramas or stacking multiple images that need to perfectly align. We also show you how to create simple GIF animations.Note: The downloadable practice files for this lesson are contained in a single compressed .zip file. You'll need to double-click on the fill after downloading to expand the file before using the practice images.Note: This lesson does not have a PDF companion guide available. We include PDFs with all new lessons and will add them to lessons in our archive as time permits.

NOTE: Some Windows users have reported issues accessing the video playback controls. While we're working on the issue, here's a Temporary Workaround: Click "Introduction" in the table of contents to the right of the video and then immediately click within the video to give it focus. After doing so, use the spacebar to play/pause the video and the left/right arrow keys to scrub forward or backward within the video.
