EXOTIC PHOTO SAFARI $249

Grab your digital camera equipment and join two renowned photographers (Randy Hufford and Ben Willmore ) and a professional model for a once-in-a-lifetime photo safari to some of Maui’s most exotic and gorgeous locations. It’s a great opportunity to capture some incredible images alongside the pros while getting tips on how to maximize the potential of your own camera equipment. Everyone will get hands-on, up-close instruction from the instructors. After the shoot, we’ll look at some of the best shots and show you how to improve them. You will also learn speed techniques to improve downloading your images, editing and processing your images, including an exploration of Adobe Bridge and Lightroom. Loaner digital cameras and lens provided by Canon USA.

 

If you’re approaching digital the same way you shot film, you have a lot to learn about shooting to take full advantage of the digital tools available. With Ben as your guide, you’ll lean how to combine special Photoshop techniques with unique shooting methods to produce extraordinary imagery. This workshop includes a treasure trove of learning experiences such as: ensuring you end up with the best raw material to optimize in Photoshop, making flash photography look natural, mastering the art of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, and a world of dazzling special effects such as light painting, car streak photography and transforming a 2d photograph into 3D.

 

Printing and Embellishing – In this workshop with Randy Hufford, you will learn how to make a canvas print (your own!), stretch it, add surface protection and embellishments like brush strokes, torn edges, paint and decorations and much much more. This will be a great fun way to wind up a week of awesome creativity! Lunch provided by Epson.
